對花集:彼岸花間

LYCORIS RADIATA

很喜歡連續圖紋的設計，

2023年專程去日本觀賞彼岸花，

就決定做一系列連續圖紋的設計，

來記錄賞花的經歷。

台灣因為很潮濕，

所以壁紙並不盛行，

膠帶像是迷你版本的壁紙，

在卡片上當作背景，

也可以算是滿足了我想做壁紙的願望。

對花的設計過程非常繁複，

這次除了膠帶來製作了印花布，

在設計上為了要符合不同版面的尺幅，

也是費盡苦心，

希望可以呈現出當初賞花時的心境。

I am very fond of continuous pattern designs. In 2023, I specifically went to Japan to admire spider lilies, and I decided to create a series of continuous pattern designs to document this flower-viewing experience.

Due to the high humidity in Taiwan, wallpaper is not very popular. Washi tape, being like a mini version of wallpaper, can be used as a background on cards, which somewhat fulfills my desire to create wallpaper.

The design process for the flowers is very intricate. This time, in addition to making washi tape, I also created printed fabric. To accommodate different sizes of layouts, I put in a lot of effort. I hope to convey the emotions I felt while viewing the flowers through these designs.

2023年專程去日本賞彼岸花，啟發我創作一系列連續圖紋，紀錄賞花的心情。台灣潮濕，壁紙不流行，因此用膠帶在卡片上當背景。製作過程繁複，但希望能呈現賞花時的心境。

In 2023, I traveled to Japan to admire the cluster amaryllis, inspiring me to create a series of continuous patterns to document the experience. Due to Taiwan's humidity, wallpapers aren't popular, so I used tape on cards as backgrounds, reflecting my desire for wallpaper. The design process was complex, but I hope to convey the mood of admiring flowers.
