每當雨季就會想去賞繡球花，

剛好也是畢業季離別之際，

雨中的離別使人傷心而語塞，

因此取名同音異字＂雨色＂。

原本想要直接畫雨當襯底，

後來覺得文字也很適合想像成串串雨滴，

所以就請chatGTP幫我寫一些關於繡球花的英文詩，

放在花朵後面當裝飾，

如果拼貼時用不到也可以很容易剪掉。

這套圖使用了歷年繪畫的繡球花，

以及找了朋友也用她的畫風畫一些繡球花，

朋友的畫風比較柔和類似遠景，

所以會燒縮小些放後面，

我的圖使用縫合法繪製邊際清晰，

就當作有對焦的前景花。

色調都調比較低彩度，

像是印象中陽明山上雨天中的繡球花，

希望大家會喜歡。

Whenever the rainy season comes, I always want to go see hydrangeas. It also happens to be the graduation season, a time of farewells. Parting in the rain is sad and leaves one speechless, which is why I named this series "Rain Color" (a homophone for "Farewell").

Originally, I wanted to use rain as the background directly, but then I thought that text could also be imagined as strings of raindrops. So, I asked ChatGPT to write some English poems about hydrangeas, which I used as decorations behind the flowers. If the poems aren't needed during collage, they can be easily cut out.

This set uses hydrangeas I’ve painted over the years, and I also asked a friend to paint some hydrangeas in her style. Her style is softer and resembles a distant view, so her paintings will be shrunk and placed in the background. My drawings, with clear boundaries created using the appliqué method, will serve as the foreground flowers in focus.

The color tones are adjusted to be low-saturation, reminiscent of hydrangeas in the rain on Yangmingshan. I hope everyone will like it.
